Colors to host the ‘Suron Ka Rang’ – Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar musical event

The popular television channel Colors, has created a new platform of entertainment for music lovers which is called ‘Suron Ka Rang’. Joining hands with record company T-Series, the first event to feature under the new ‘Suron Ka Rang’ banner, will be a very special tribute concert to the late Gulshan Kumar (Father of T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar).
The tribute concert is all set to be a massive scale event and will feature 60 popular and unique compositions across three decades of T-Series’ Music. 40 popular musical stars will attend and perform at the event. A few of the names mentioned include our multi talented Himesh Reshammiya, AR Rahman, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Shaan and more. The event will see a mixture of composers and singers.
According to IndianTelevision.com, Colors CEO Raj Nayak said, “Over the years, we have strived to present Indian viewers with multiple entertainment avenues across genres and categories. Suron Ke Rang is another step in this direction – curating content beyond the realm of films to celebrate the best of the music industry. Our first offering will be a tribute concert celebrating the illustrious life of Shri Gulshan Kumar and his contribution towards changing the face of the Indian music industry with songs that have touched the hearts of millions. We are happy to join hands with T-Series for this unique concert, a company which has changed the face of Indian music with a multitude of offerings in every genre catering to music-lovers with varied preferences.”

The musical event will be held in Mumbai on 22nd September and will be aired on Colors later this year.
