A jodi can make or break a film. If the chemistry and connection is off or cold between the two leads than the movie will mostly likely fall away without being remembered. But if the hero and heroine make magic and especially make us fall in love while they are, then the film goes down in the books of movie history. 2010 has seen impressive comebacks for some jodis and first appearances for others. We take a look back at the jodis we loved this year.

Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol (My Name Is Khan)

Arguably the best jodi of the noughties, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol added yet another notch on their list of already prestigious work with My Name is Khan . Fans could not wait to see two of their favourite unite onscreen. The rise of their sought after jodi is there for all to see in their previous films, however, with MNIK, their status changed somewhat. MNIK showed the audiences that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol can pull off serious cinema just as well as they can execute innocent love stories like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and family dramas like Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham . MNIK could possibly be the final time this effervescent jodi is seen together on the big screen, but one can only hope that there is a project out there that can bring them together once again, whether this be under Karan Johar’s banner or not.
