France gets 3 Idiots!
Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots will be distributed in June next year by France-based production and distribution company, Studio Canal.
The film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, is one of Bollywood’s biggest hits. Along with Aamir Khan, the film also starred R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles.
Executive vice president, international distribution and new business of Studio Canal Rodophe Buet is in Mumbai attending the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) event and told IANS, “We distributed videos of 3 Idiots in the UK and we will distribute the film in France probably around June 2011.”
