About the film director Sudhir Mishra said, “Yeh Saali Zindagi is somewhat similar in style to Is Raat… much edgier and funnier. It’s also a kind of romantic film in the guise of a thriller. It’s about how life flips you around and the dangers of love. It’s a black comedy.”
