Gulshan Grover to star opposite Salma Hayek

Gulshan Grover is rumoured to be appearing opposite Mexican and Hollywood actress Salma Hayek in a Hollywood production.

The actor, who is best known for playing negative roles in Hindi film, will reportedly be seen playing Hayek’s husband in The Driver.

The veteran actor revealed: “I was in LA and Bill Duke saw me at a charity event. Later on a meeting was fixed and we met where I read the script, liked it and signed it on.”

Duke, who earlier released Sister Act 2, confirmed details of the casting. “Since the protagonist will be acting with a range of Hollywood stars, I wanted to cast an Indian actor with an ability to improvise,” said the filmmaker.

The project is also rumoured to feature celebrities Janet Jackson, Whoopie Goldberg and Kobe Bryant in cameo roles.
