Rani Mukerji is bemused with the rumors about her sharing cold vibes with her co-star Kareena Kapoor. They have earlier appeared together in Mujhse Dosti Karoge! (2002) and are now doing Reema Kagti’s Aamir Khan-starrer The Act of Murder, set for an early 2012 release.

Bollywood heroines are known to be competitive with one and another and as soon as they share the screen space together, a rumor of a fall out pops out. Mukerji is upset as these rumors have circulated earlier when she worked with Vidya Balan in No One Killed Jessica (2011) as well. She claims that she is very cordial with Kapoor whenever they meet, but hardly has any scenes with her this time around. On the other hand, Mukerji is also elated to be working with a female director for the first time, as she’s been meaning to work with one for a while. “Despite many opportunities, I never managed to do a film with them. So, I am happy to be working with Reema because she is simply a star,” says the actress as she speaks to Hindustan Times. In addition, this is her third film with Khan after Ghulam (1998) and Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005). Explaining her excitement about working with him again, she says, “It’s always amazing to work with Aamir because you can learn a lot of things from him as an actor. He is very involved in his craft.”

Apart from Kagti’s film, Mukerji is also tiptoed about Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming venture, where she will co-star with a Telugu star. She is also in the process of signing a couple more projects. We’re looking forward to see the green-eyed beauty back to the silver screen again after her hiatus last year!
