Heroine hits another roadblock!

It looks like Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine is jinxed. The film keeps running into problems. And when one problem is solved, the other one comes knocking on Bhandarkar’s door.

The director may have finally found its heroine in Kareena Kapoor after Aishwarya had left the project, but if we can believe the recent rumours, he has now lost its composers.

Reportedly UTV had a fall-out with Salim-Sulaiman over royaltys, which led to the duo quitting the project. Salim-Sulaiman had apparently demanded royalty for their music. Their demand raised a few eyebrows and hasn’t gone down too well with the production house.

“UTV did not expect Salim-Sulaiman to make such a demand. The composers have worked with UTV in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion in 2008. The box office success of the film had at the time benefited Salim-Sulaiman as well,” says a source. The source further added, “It’s not that Salim-Sulaiman have had a successful run in the recent past. So their demand for an additional royalty has raised a few eyebrows.”

As both parties refused to budge, the project is now without composer. Bhandarkar, UTV and Salim Sulaiman remained unavailable for comment.

First the heroine and now the composers….the question you almost want to ask yourself is: who will be the next one to leave the project?
