Deepika Padukone sped down the ramp for new designer label S&N on day 3 of the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. Sporting a charcoal grey and yellow new fabric T-shirt with black satin micro-shorts, Deeps stole the show in the collection called Motorchic. “This time I think I really enjoyed myself and like I said, I think it has to do with the fact that it’s sports mixed fashion and it’s comfortable at the same time,” she says, “So I think everything put together, I was feeling my best today.”

Deepika recently made a firm fashion statement herself by declaring her antipathy towards the size zero trend. “Correct me if I am wrong, but I personally feel that the Indian body type is not cut out to be size zero,” she comments, “I am not size zero and I don’t believe in that either. I believe that it’s nice to be a little full and have a nice shape,”

We certainly agree with you there, Deeps!

Meanwhile, rap artist IshQ Bector also appears to agree with us. He claims to have a bank of 150 songs in the pipeline and says that he is particularly drawn to one called ‘Angel’ and for a singular reason. “Thats my song dedicated to Angel of Bollywood none other than Deepika Padukone,” he explains.
