After creating “Jalwa” on the silver scree, with Wanted, the terrific trio – Boney Kapoor, Prabhu Deva and Salman Khan can be expected back again for Boney’s next venture which is supposed to be a remake of Malayalam film Bodyguard.
Wanted, a blockbuster last year, has surely raised the expectations for the trio. Boney Kapoor confirmed his joint venture with Prabhudeva & Sallu by saying, “Yes I went to Ernakulam during my visit to Chennai and saw Bodyguard as Prabhu recommended it. It’s a good film but I didn’t go with an intention to buy its rights. Its director Siddhique is quite known and has made a lot of good films. Priyadarshan has remade most his films in Hindi.”
Tinsel Town is talking about the Sallu and Prabhudeva duo to be seen together in the sequel of Wanted, to be called Most Wanted, which will be produced by Boney Kapoor. Sallu is all geared up with another surprise package for his fans. No, it’s not Zareen Khan again, but an established Malayalam actress and director Prabhu Deva’s rumored lady love Nayanthara. Boney Kapoor, being as business-driven as he is, is keen to sign Nayanthara, recognizing her repute and popularity down South.
So now Sallu fans have one more reason to celebrate and drool. Although Veer failed to live up to their expectations, Salman won’t leave any stone unturned for the success of his next film. Will the next Salman venture create the magic and lunacy that Wanted created? We’ll just have to wait and see.
