Award season has officially begun in Bollywood. The first award ceremony which honored the best in Bollywood was none other than the Aspara Film and Television Awards. And because Twitter is “the” place to “hang out” for most Tinseltown celebs, the likes of Farhan Akhtar (@Karthikcalling) tweeted as he departed for the ceremony, “Tonight we are also introducing KCK at the Apsara Awards. The show goes on air on 17th Jan on Colors.” Joining him was buddy Abhishek Bachchan who tweeted, “I love award functions! The whole industry comes together. Feels so good. Get to catch up with all my friends.”

The awards celebrated the best of both industries with most of the biggies taking away top accolades. Hosted by Preity Zinta, the show will air on T.V. mid January. In the meantime, take a look and the winners.
