It was more of the political crowd at the Deshmukh-D’Souza Marathi wedding ceremony whilst the rest of Bollywood saved their appearance for the reception. But here’s a quick fashion analysis of all who made it to the wedding of the year!

Amrita Rao

For anyone who was wondering whether our beloved Amu is still around or not, she is indeed! Looking her stunning self she was present at the function in a pink/gold net saree. We quite love the look minus the shape her hair has taken.

Quite Hot

Asin

Asin stole the show for us in her traditional South Indian attire. She stood out from the crowd of bling and obvious designer wear choices in a white/gold kesavu saree. As the saying goes, khoobsurati saadgi mein hai (beauty lies in simplicity).

VERY hot!

Kajol

After Amu we had the very gorgeous Kajol making a rare appearance in a stunning yellow saree. Usually we have 101 problems with Kajol’s attires but here we have none! She truly surprised us.

HOT

Maria

After Asin the other person to steal our attention and stand out of the crowd was Maria Goretti, Mrs Arshad Warsi, in her silk purple/green saree. It was simple, traditional and ideal for the event.

Very hot!

Neeta & Nishka Lulla

It is almost pointless trying to be critical of the style mantra of this mother daughter combo who are always in style! We love it that they kept it so festive!

Hot

Samita

Samita Bangargi was in attendance with hubby Aashish in a fluro green saree that endorsed fluro pink edgings. We quite love the saree and the blouse and think the stunning lady looking quite great however a little tweaking with the makeup couldn’t have hurt.

Quite hot.

Sophie

We wonder why Sophie chose to keep it so simple with this cream churidar considering she’s usually the most dressed up one at events. Regardless, we think she looked rather cute!

Hot

Sunita Gowarikar

Mrs Ashutosh Gowarikar was the epitome of elegance and class in her rich red and off white saree. Quite a simple saree compared to what everyone else chose however the saree truly made a statement with its vibrant color and viscose fabric rather than  the usual bling-work we saw at the event.

Very hot!

So yes as you can see the ladies in attendance were limited at the event however may we say the fashion of the all who were there was truly impressive! Keep reading Bollyspice.com for a fashion analysis of all who attended the reception of the happy couple, and believe us now that was a star studded event!
