Although it is not yet confirmed, the grapevine is abuzz with Imtiaz Ali’s not so good experience with the Roshans. Apparently, Eros had signed on Hrithik for a movie which never took off, and then they signed Ali with them (they were impressed with Jab We Met), and they let him take charge of a project with Hrithik.
Ali showed a script to Hrithik, who in turn verbally okayed the script. But Rakesh Roshan (the co-producer of the film) was not to happy with it – he suggested some changes to the script. Hrithik too supported those changes, which didn’t go down too well with Ali, who now had two super hits under his belt.
Last we heard, Ali was in no mood to go ahead with the film, and it’s on the backburners for the time being.
