Balaji taking action over The Dirty Picture

When it comes to rumours in B-town, you can never trace back and in some cases, you can’t be sure of who started them but you can count on reactions. The latest is the supposed Bengali and Tamil remake of The Dirty Picture.

While the rumours the makers themselves have approached Southern Siren Anushka Shetty to play the lead, the latest buzz is that Rita Kapoor has begun legal action against the makers of the Bengali remake starring Rakhi Sawant that even Vidya Balan has been queried upon.

Pictures, Tanuj Garg confirmed with Times of India recently saying “Legal motives have been sent to those trying to pass off The Dirty Picture as their film”.

Whether there is truth to the official remakes in the South is yet to be seen but you can be sure Bollyspice will be there to cover it.
