There were reports recently that Shahrukh Khan has advanced the shooting schedule for Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express in order to be with his cricket team, the Kolkata Knight Riders during the Champions League which starts on October 9.

The superstar however has denied all such rumors.

“No, please don’t believe what you guys read, write and show. I’ll tell you if you start believing the lies you only say, it’s going to be really bad for you. You at least should know,” he said in an interview, taking the media to task.

It appears our King Khan is rather exhausted of defending himself against all the nonsense that is written about him on a daily basis.

“It’s normal shooting, whenever we start shooting… Inshallah, in September. We were always starting in September,” he clarified.

Additionally, sources claim that the rights for the film have been sold for the whopping price of 105 crores. Though that figure is not hard to believe, given the clout that both Rohit Shetty and SRK wield, UTV CEO Sidharth Roy Kapoor (who is co-producing) refused to comment on the reports.

There is no official confirmation as of yet but it seems pretty certain that Deepika Padukone has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Shahrukh.

Chennai Express is the first collaboration between the two box office kings, SRK and Rohit Shetty.
