Chakravyuh has enthralled the whole nation with the outstanding performances and a very strong message. The audiences, critics and the filmy brigade are all going gaga over this political thriller that gives one insights about the Naxalite movement in India.

Prakash Jha has used an extremely balanced approach to create an illustration around something as complex and sensitive as Naxalism. He has equally respected both the counters and the supporters and exposed the core
motive of the outburst.

The film has redefined Arjun Rampal’s acting skills as he says it’s the most intense role he has played till date. Talking about his performance, Hrithik Roshan tweeted, “Chakravyuh a war u can’t escape a truth u cant ignore! @rampalarjun continues 2 b an inspiration!Dude ur a rockstar!Well done team chkrvyh!”

The critics have also been very optimistic about the film in their reviews. Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Chakravyuh movie review: Chronicles a burning issue. An engaging drama!” Subhash. K Jha in his review mentioned, “In Chakravyuh Prakash Jha enters the dark largely unexposed world of Naxalites. Armed with an explosive plot that tests the loyalty of 2 friends as they are pitched in an ideological battle, Jha’s narrative is clenched and compelling. Powerfully scripted, the film derives much of its power from its central performances by Arjun Rampal and Abhay Deol.”

Critics have declared Chakravyuh as a must watch and the film has got a spectacular response from the audiences.

Shabana Azmi mentioned that Chakravyuh is Prakash Jha’s best work till date. Also, Javed Akthar tweeted, “Hats off to Chakravyuh. It is only a great film but a major contribution towards building a just fair and a more decent society. Anyone who loves good films should and watch CHAKRAVYUH . Such films are made once in decades. It is a great movie!!”

With the kind of response Chakravyuh has generated, the film has undoubtedly set a benchmark in the Indian Cinema.
