Opening this weekend in select cities and then taking on the world beginning next weekend is Silver Linings Playbook, written and directed by David O. Russell. The film boasts an incredible cast including Robert DeNiro, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrenece, and Chris Tucker. You might be wondering why we are doing a story on this. Well, it is because the cast also includes esteemed actor Mr. Anupam Kher in a pivotal role. The film has received tremendous buzz at early screenings at prestigious film festivals and received the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival. Along with rave reviews, there is even talk that Silver Linings Playbook could be in the running for an Academy Award nomination.
