Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal starrer OMG – Oh My God has wowed audiences among all age groups which is a rare feat in the current times. The film has been running brilliantly raking in alot of moolah at the box office. OMG Oh My God is the first venture of the Bollywood A lister Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi’s Grazing Goat Pictures. The film has had a dream run at the box office and celebrated 50 glorious days since its release and is still running in theatres making it the biggest sleeper hit of the year.
That apart, OMG was also well received by the film critics and industry folks who gave the film a big thumbs up making it an entertaining yet socially relevant film. With its power-packed script, good performances and luminous execution, the film is still on way to churn out business at the box office.
When we quizzed about the success of OMG, Ashvini Yardi said, When such films with a different concept are so well accepted, it gives us more confidence as producers to invest and explore more concept oriented films.’
There’s a strong buzz that the producers are planning a sequel to the film, guess we’ll have to wait for an official announcement for that.
