David Dhawan is back in the director’s chair again two years after his 2007 release Partner, was declared a box office hit. This time he is heading up UTV Motion Pictures’ Hook Ya Crook,, which goes on the floor later this month. Written by Rensil D’Silva, the award-winning writer of Rang De Basanti, Hook Ya Crook stars John Abraham in the lead with sources saying that the female lead is likely to be Genelia D’Souza of Jaane Tu Yah Jaane Na fame. This will be John’s second film with UTV after Goal.
