He may look tough on the outside, but Katrina Kaif says Salman Khan is a Big Softie on the inside. “Salman likes to act tough but it is so easy to win him over,” she says, “Anyone who wants to get close to him only has to act helpless and say, ‘I have no friends and no one loves me’, then Salman will adopt that person.”
Recently Katrina has been talking about her ambition to play a comic role. Although she has appeared in many comedy focused movies such as Partner and Singh is Kinng, she doesn’t feel she has yet to engage in a truly comic role herself. “I think I have yet to do a great comic role,” she explains, “I have done a lot of comedy films but I don’t think I have done an out and out comic role.” This may explain why she is looking at the potential for doing a film loosely based on the Cameron Diaz movie There’s Something About Mary, where she would find herself wooed by three different men.
After the disappointment of Yuvraaj, Katrina is looking forward to a barnstorming start to 2009 with: New York opposite John Abraham, in which their on-screen chemistry is set to be electrifying; Blue with the superstar case of Akshay Kumar, Zayed Khan, Lara Dutta and Sanjay Dutt; Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani with Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor; and De Dana Dan back with Akshay.
