Kangana Ranaut has caused a bit of stir by claiming that she wasn’t paid for her role in Shakalaka Boom Boom. “Suneel Darshan gave me the worst time of my life during Shakalaka Boom Boom. They didn’t even pay me for it. I felt really bad but it’s okay now,” she says. Whilst not going so far as to actually confirm that she was paid, Suneel has retaliated with the words, “Frankly, I can’t stoop to her level and she doesn’t really deserve a reply. See, any retaliation will open up too many controversies and there is no sense washing dirty linen in public. Surely, if she has a conscience, she will regret her disgusting behaviour.”
Meanwhile, socially conscious Kangana was prominent in the Peace March in Mumbai last week in response to the militant attack. She was also involved in the launch of E-Bike, a new personal transport device that comes with rechargeable batteries.
Kangana, who will soon be seen in Kites with Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori and Raaz — The Mystery Continues, says she is trying to develop a sexier look by changing her diet to a higher protein content and hitting the gym more regularly. “I believe in looking sexy the natural way,” she argues. Other films in the pipeline include Roshan and Happy New Year.
