Go Goa Gone’s Cool Tie up with Mad Over Donuts with a Zoombie Keel-er!

Singaporean gourmet donut brand Mad Over Donuts has announced its association with Bollywood Film – Go Goa Gone. This is the first time Mad Over Donuts will be associating itself with a film.

Announcing this association, Mr. Tarak Bhattacharya – COO, Mad Over Donuts stated, “Mad Over Donuts is India’s 1st gourmet donut brand known for its vibrant and youthful customer connect. On the other hand Go Go Gone is India’s 1st zom-com based on youth, friendship and fun. Both Mad Over Donuts and Go Goa Gone share the same target group and thus associating with this movie seemed like a perfect fit. Its our 1st film association and as a Brand we are willing to explore this platform in future as well.”

Tanaaz Bhatia – CEO/Founder of Bottomline Media Pvt Ltd, the agency that was the behind the association, states, “Creating the Zoombie Keel-er donut was a fun process. Go Goa Gone and Mad Over Donuts are all about innovation and creating new spaces in their own field. Marrying the two , just made it a perfect fit for us to come up with the association, which has never been attempted before.”

“It’s a cool association. Both are fun brands! Ours is a mad, wacky film and they are Mad Over Donuts,” says the director-duo, Raj & DK. “In fact in the last couple of years, we’ve got into the habit of taking their dozen pack to parties.”

With key attributes like fun and craziness, Mad Over Donuts discovered an apt association with this film that seeks an audience with the vibrant and dynamic youth. With this association, Mad Over Donuts intends to establish a strong connect with its target audience.

Mad Over Donuts has also introduced a donut named ‘Zombie Keel-er’ created specially for this film. Dipped in white chocolate, this donut is topped with bloody red jelly and dark blueberry compote. The ‘Zombie Keel-er’ Donut will be available in stores from the 1st of May 2013 and will be priced at Rs. 55/- per donut.

Scheduled to release on the 10th May 2013, Go Goa Gone is pegged at being India’s first Zom-com. The film features Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu and Vir Das amongst others and is being produced by Illuminati Films and Eros International , directed by Raj Nidimoru & Krishna DK.
