One of our favorite songs, not only on the OST of Fukrey, but so far this year has to be the brilliant ‘Ambarsariya’ sung by the amazing Sona Mohapatra.
We came across this live and acoustic version of Ambarsariya, which was recorded live at Omgrown Studios and we had to share.
Posted on the singer’s YouTube page, she wrote, “A love ballad adapted from a folk song from Punjab & reinvented by Ram Sampath & Sona Mohapatra for the movie Fukrey , set in East Delhi . The smell of the earth & musical expression at its purest . A voice , two instruments & a story unfolds ….Sanjoy & Nirdosh on acoustic guitars … all smiles !!”
