AOPL media Pvt. LTD has made a niche name for itself by catering to the Southern Entertainment Industry. However, they have aimed straight at Bollywood this time, with War Chhod Na Yaar.

They have aimed in bringing an entirely new genre of cinema to Bollywood to mark their entry and what’s more they have entrusted debut Director Faraz Haider for the job. So what made AOPL believe in Faraz’s dreams and invest in this project? “It’s the strength of the script which gave AOPL the confidence to invest in a movie of a new genre. It talks about a universal subject which has got a lot of dimensions, in the simplest language even a common man can understand. The moment we heard it, we were sure that the masses will definitely be getting connected to it. AOPL is always known in Malayalam Movie industry for its penchant for novel scripts, new cast and crew and movies with substance. We are just following the same here as well,” said Prashanth Narayanan, the COO of the production house.

Faraz Haider himself decided to mark his debut with a new genre altogether. His believed that the entire movie will be a very noble concept and that it will surely break the monotony of Bollywood seeing more than 3 Romantic or comedy movies each month. The genre of War Chhod Na Yaar is a comedy on War. The entire movie is loosely based on satirical humour, where the subject of humour is the pointless war the confusion and chaos that comes with it. Faraz himself has left no stones unturned in making this movie. From shooting in the blazing deserts of Rajasthan to asking the army officials and getting all the facts straight, he’s done it all. All in all, War Chhod Na Yaar seems to be a brilliant film in the making. We are waiting to see the final outcome when the movie releases.

War Chhod Na Yaar is an upcoming Satire based on War. The movie stars Sharman Joshi, Soha Ali Khan and Javed Jaffrey among others. The movie is currently in production, and is slated to be released in August.
