Dia Mirza’s Factory Fight

One of Bollywood’s sizzling stars, Dia Mirza, is currently filming Acid Factory, a movie about a girl locked in a factory with four men and no means of escape. It involves Dia in some athletic action, “After playing dainty, utterly feminine roles I’m enjoying being put on a harness, dangling from ropes, jumping from heights, kicking and punching. In spite of my dainty image, I’ve always been a tomboy,” she explains.

Half-German Dia, who was Miss Asia Pacific in 2000, grabbed our attention with her performance in Shootout at Lokhandwala, based on a true story and she shone in Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.. 2007 was a big year for her because she was also seen in films such as the ultimately disappointing Cash, as well as Dus Kahaniyaan and Krazzy 4. Before this, she had appeared in Dus, Stop!, Fight Club and Parineeta

With the warmth of Salman Khan’s personality showing through in his new TV series, it might be interesting to read what Dia also has to say about him, “Once my mother fell unconscious. I called Salman since he stays close to my house. It was with his help that I was able to rush my mother to the hospital. The doctor later told us that had we not to got my mother admitted within those 15 minutes, she would have had very little chance of survival. I’m eternally grateful to Salman and will stand by him no matter what.”
