Sultry beauty Sameera Reddy is all set to make a big name for herself in Kollywood. She first caught our attention in the movie Musafir in 2004, where she played a rape victim. It was her first role as a vamp rather than a shy and simple schoolgirl. This was the movie that also featured the controversial kissing scene with Anil Kapoor. She was noticed for her role in the movie Taxi No. 9211.

She went on to impress the critics with Kaalpurush – Memories in the Mist, an independent movie where she played the dual role of a middle-class housewife and a prostitute. She has had two films featured at the Toronto Film Festival; one of which was Mira Nair’s Migration, one of the Aids quartet short movies doing the rounds at film festivals around the world.

Sameera’s comical timing in Race received good reviews. “Sameera excels as the dumb girl. Actually, it’s a tough job and she does it well,” one critic said. Sameera will soon be seen in a mobile phone downloadable video game called Sam’s Mission and will now be appearing in a Kollywood film titled Vaarinam Aayiram.

How does Sameera feel about her hot babe image? “I am really proud of this hotty image,” she says, “You must know that my first film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya is the most watched film on Television. People like to watch it every two weeks. It’s really good news for me. Musafir also has to be mentioned here. I got the title of hot property because of that film only. With that film, I got my acknowledgment in Bollywood.”
