Madras Cafe gets U/A with no cuts

madrascafeposterShoojit Sircar’s much-awaited next film Madras Cafe has been given a U/A certificate by the Censor Board without any cuts. Its a conspiracy and espionage fictional story in the backdrop of the Sri Lankan civil wars of the early 1990s.
“I am happy that the censor board has passed our film without any cuts giving it a U/A certificate,” says Shoojit. “This is a very special film for us and am glad the audiences will get to experience this political thriller soon.”he adds.
Madras Cafe, which releases on August 23, is co-produced by JA Entertainment and Rising Sun Films and stars John Abraham and Nargis Fakhri in the lead. “
