13jul_MickeyVirus-ManishPaulManish Paul is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Mickey Virus, and has expressed his wish to work with Karan Johar one day.

“Karan sir and I are good friends but we never talk about films, neither have I ever asked him for a film. But Karan sir himself said that if and when he has a suitable script for me, he will definitely approach me as he does not want me to do just any role. So I am hoping he will have a script for me some day and I can have the honour of working with him,” he said.

Karan Johar is currently judging Jhalak Dikhhla Ja 6 with Madhuri Dixit and Remo D’souza on Colors while Manish is hosting the season with Kapil Sharma. Manish has hosted a number of shows namely DID Li’l Masters and India’s Got Talent Season 4. This is his first step towards the big screen.

Mickey Virus marks the debut of half Greek-half Swedish Elli Avram in Bollywood and is about a hacker in Delhi. It is directed by Saurabh Verma.

Manish showed a small cut of the film to the judges on Jhalak and they were all impressed with his work. “I have done well as a host but no one has ever seen me act. I am happy the judges liked what I showed them, I was quite scared of how they will react,” he added.

Mickey Virus is slated for a September 13 release.
