In her new movie, Race, Katrina Kaif has a new sexy avatar. Katrina plays Saif’s secretary and she has a big crush on him. The makeover is for the song ‘Zara Zara Touch Me’ and during the song Katrina’s character is trying to get Saif’s character to finally notice her.

Katrina said, “The look in the song ‘Zara Zara Touch Me’ is completely different from what I have done earlier. The song is very situation based that defines my character in the film. The character wants to win Saif’s affection and the song is picturised keeping that in mind.”

She went on to say, “It was a pleasure shooting with Saif Ali Khan for the song. Even the outfit for the song was specially purchased from Dubai from a high end designer Jenny Packham, who is very popular abroad.

The dress is a beautiful flowery blue, with a very 60’s look which perfectly suited the song. Whilst Anaitha Shroff worked on the overall styling of the character, Meher Kohla did my make up. In fact whenever she has done my make-up, my songs have been hits. I jokingly tell her that she is my lucky charm and hope that even this new song becomes a hit.”

Everyone is raving about her look in the promo for the song and ‘Zara Zara Touch Me’ is one of the hottest tracks on the album. “The song had to be on the edge because the character is on the edge to get Saif’s attention,” Katrina added.

Katrina has also just signed another big project starring opposite John Abraham. It is for the Yash Raj banner and will be directed by Kabir Khan of Kabul Express fame. The rest of the cast is still in the works and the film will go to the floor later this year to be released in 2009. Kabir Khan said about the film, “This is a very relevant and contemporary story, and it is very close to my heart.”
