Vishal Bhardwaj’s masterpiece Omkara was praised by critics and audience a like and included brilliant performances by Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Kareena Kapoor, and Konkona Sen Sharma. Now, it is being reported that a prequel to the film may be in the works!
According to producer Kumar Mangat, “We are in process of working on a prequel. We just hope things fall in place before it takes off.” Sadly that is the only detail he would give.
Apparently Bhardwaj is on board, especially since his project on Fearless Nadia has been shelved. Reports are that he has gone to Pune to work on a script, and that it maybe be the script for the prequel.
