This was a turning point year for Shahid. He starred in Jab We Met, which was the surprise hit of the year, and what just may have catapulted him into the top tier of the industry. He also had Fool N Final, which failed, but after his mature performance in JWM, producers are lining up to sign this young talent. He was also making headlines for his breakup with long time beau, Kareena Kapoor, so he was not gone from the public’s mind. For 2008, he has long delayed Milenge Milenge coming up, as well as Kismet Konnection.
