In an effort to raise awareness about human trafficking several top Bollywood actors have taken part in a video entitled ‘One Life, No Price’. The 2-minute video was made as part of the collaboration between the United Nations’ Office On Drug Control (UNODC) and the Indian film industry. This collaboration is all part of the larger initiative UN GIFT (Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking) that is working to pull together many resources to fight this global problem.

‘One Life, No Price’ will be shown before the feature film Welcome in over 1100 theaters across India. The cast of the film Welcome including: Feroz Khan, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Akshay Kumar, and Katrina Kaif all took part. Joining them are Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta and John Abraham. Besides being part of the video, each one of these actors will also be taping separate messages to be used to further promote awareness.

The powerful film concludes with Amitabh saying. “No human person, no child or woman, should be enslaved. Let us strengthen the hands of those fighting this battle.”
