It is being reported that because of his knee injury, the cameo of Hrithik Roshan in Om Shanti Om is not to be. The scene was to have Hrithik, Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan all vying for a Best Actor award against SRK’s character. But now it is said to be it only Akshay and Abhishek in that part of the movie.
This report seems to be supported by a quote Farah Khan gave when talking about Abhishek’s performance in the scene. “Abhishek is really funny in the scene. He plays himself while attending an award functions. As a nominee, he is shown to be competing with Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar.”
It would have been great fun to see the 4 of them together, however we are sure the scene will be funny even with the loss of Hrithik. Who knows maybe one day it really will be the 4 of them competing for the Best Actor award! Now that would be a sight to see!
