One of the most interesting movies being filmed right now is Sanjay Gupta’s Dus Kahaniyaan. Interesting because it is ten different short-films put together as one. As we all know and love, the films have music videos made for promotion and, on Thursday, a video that has never been attempted before began to shoot.
Never before attempted because it is weaving together the spirit of each of the separate ten short films. Directed by Rahul Sood, the video includes some of the actors and actresses from the stories including: Dino Morea, Suniel Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Minissha Lamba, Diya Mirza and Tarina Patel.
Dino Morea, who is in the short film entitled Sex On The Beach, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, said that the video is like a rock concert ala Lenny Kravitz. “And the song is composed by rocker Gaurav who has never done a film song before. So the whole atmosphere is that of an impromptu jig. I’m having loads of fun. One of my secret fantasies is to sing on stage. This video fulfills that dream.”
Suniel Shetty added, “Though we often shoot music videos to support films these days, this one is something else. I’ve never seen such grandeur in a music- video before. And the minute I heard Gaurav’s song I was hooked. It took me no time at all to groove to the beat.”
