2013 is being heralded as Deepika Padukone’s year. The actress whose latest release Goliyon ki Rasleela-RamLeela has opened to rave reviews and response over the weekend, does have a fairytale of a success story to narrate this year.
Starting with Race2, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and the latest RamLeela, Deepika has to her credit, four simultaneous blockbusters in a single year, a feat very rare to films these days.
The actress is being incessantly commended for her versatility in roles and growth as a performer, easily winning audiences hearts to the numero uno position.
True to tradition which she follows in wake of release of her films, the actress made it a point to visit the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai on Friday. While her co-star Ranveer was seen theatre hopping to get the first hand feedback of the audiences, Deepika who confessed to being a tad nervous about the reception of the film, decided instead to pay a visit to the temple to seek the Lord’s blessings.
