Many stars have joined the path of international stardom after Aishwarya Rai. While Tabu and Irrfan Khan are starring in The Namesake, Aishwarya Rai will be seen in The Last Legion along with Colin Firth. In the midst of these movies, Celina Jaitley has signed a New Zealand/Australian project titled “Love has no language”. Celina Jaitley is known for her bikini scenes and C grade movies but this is certainly a step ahead for the former Miss India. It is said to be a big-budget film, starring Ben Mitchell (of New Zealand fame). This is the first chance Celina has had to prove her acting abilities, as in Bollywood films she is always seen in skimpy dresses where not much acting is required. Of course Celina is very enthusiastic concerning this particular project because she’ll be portraying an NRI in New Zealand, that’s practically spent her entire lifetime there. It is said to be a non-glamorous film, which comes as a surprise because most of Celina’s movies see her in glamorous outfits and not to mention loads of make-up (We can only hope she doesn’t sport her horrible contacts once again in her forthcoming international project).

Celina has many future projects planned besides “Love has no language” which is slated to release in 2008. Her forthcoming movies are as follows: Mungilal Rocks starring Boman Irani, Unusual Love Story where she’ll be seen once again opposite Sanjay Dutt, and Kaash Tumse Mohabbat Na Hoti directed by Maan Singh Deep. Not the best line-up for 2007 but she is showing versatility in her roles which will hopefully improve her reputation from a C-grade heroine to an A-grade heroine. And if all fails she still has her many endorsements which she proves to be very successful in.
