Crouching, alert, and poised – like Peter Parker, the movie is all set to break Hollywood records left, right, and center in India. It would not be incorrect to call it the most anticipated movie of 2007. Televisionpoint said the anticipation “is unmatched since the days of Star Wars releases.”

Spiderman 3 is the costliest movie ever made at $250 million, but it has already earned Rs. 10 crore simply from partnerships and media tie-ups across India. Amongst these lucky companies are Baskin Robbins, travelguru.com, Cartoon Network, Horlicks, and HDFC Life Insurance.

Radio City 91.9 FM has tied up with Sony Entertainment for an exclusive radio partnership. Listeners can tune into not only the original soundtrack and fun bits of trivia, but exclusive interviews with the Spiderman and his leading leading – Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst! The trivia includes behind-the-scenes snippets to create a intimate experience, and on-air contests give listeners a chance to win movie tickets! However, movie tickets are not the only thing going up for grabs – some lucky fan will win a trip to New York (including a guided tour of locations where Spiderman 3 was shot)! Get set, for the contest begins May 21st! If you’re not one of these lucky winners though, you can simply buy yourself a ticket, a drink, and some popcorn – and go enjoy the cinematic experience of Spiderman 3. After all, the hype is all about the movie, right?
