Walking into a Yash Raj film is always an experience. Not only are you guaranteed a quality movie, but you get a glimpse at their next release! This past Friday, the theatrical trailer of Shaad Ali’s Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was unveiled with Ta Ra Rum Pum.

The promo begins with a stunning Preity at a table where Abhishek introduces himself as Vicky with horrible grammar! You can tell from the start that this is going to be a comical promo. After Preity introduces herself as Alvira Khan from Lahore, the trailer introduces us to the cast one by one. First Abhishek, rocking some bizzare moves around town. Then an absolutely sexy Preity Zinta swaying her hips. And then, it’s back to the table where we find out that Preity is engaged and has come to pick up her fiancee from Birmingham. Bobby Deol is introduced next, with his messy hair, dancing in a club. Abhishek then shows off his “original topaz” ring to Preity when Lara Dutta props up with a new hairstyle and looking great.

Throughout the promo we get glimpses of Amitabh Bachchan with a guitar, long hair, weird outfit, and a feather in his hat! Finally, after the cast is introduced, Amitabh returns and starts crooning the title track, which is absolutely fantastic from what we can hear. We see clips of the cast dancing, looking oh-so-hot.

Overall, the trailer is fantastic as it reveals the mood of the film without giving away too much. Also, it leaves you begging for more which is exactly what a trailer should do. However, we don’t get to see any real scenes from the film, other than the dances.

The promo concludes with Abhishek delivering a hilarious line: “Tum dono ka…Tum dono ka sex ho gaya?!”, leaving the audience in a fit of laughter.

This June, dance, jump and shout with Abhishek, Preity, Bobby and Lara!

Get ready to Jhoom Barabar Jhoom on June 15th!
