After a bootless debut in the below-average Nazar opposite Ashmit Patel and a larger flop with Kasak, Meera has been looked down upon from both sides of her world. Pakistani media views her as a respectful actress gone impudent. India sees her as just another wannabe actress flaunting for fame. However, despite her consecutive failures, perhaps her next move will work its magic with the media and the box office.

They say third time’s a charm. However, no one has attempted to pull off an Aishwarya Rai. Reportedy, Pakistani actress Meera will be seen playing the role of a ‘manglik’ girl in her next film Ssimran. The thriller will be directed by Neeraj Sahai and produced by Ashfaqaaquee Rahmaan, a pharmaceutical distribution company owner. It also stars Mahima Chaudhary, Aryan Vaid, Rajat Bedi, Govind Namdea and Reema Lagoo.

Reportedly, the film is a mature love story about a manglik girl and her difficulties throughout the way. Based on Aishwarya Rai’s life as a manglik, Ssimran discovers what destiny has in store for her.

Indisputable sources also include that Ssimran is in its post-production stages and has been shot in several cities around India including Mahableshwar, Panchgani, Wai, Panvel and Mumbai.
