Directed by Homi Adajania (Being Cyrus, Cocktail), one of the films that really has us intrigued is Finding Fanny, a Goa-set tale that stars Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, along with veteran actors Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, and Pankaj Kapoor with a special appearance by Ranveer Singh.

The film, which releases on September 12th, tells the story of Five Goans, who set off on a road trip in search of an old postman’s childhood love, Stefanie “Fanny” Fernandes, though nobody knows whether she’s alive or dead or just a figment of someone’s imagination. However, the friends get lost, and the journey – originally intended to take 20 minutes – instead takes one and a half days. If you’re looking for love…get lost!

We have your first song from the quirky Finding Fanny, titled ‘Fanny Re’, the peppy track was composed and sung by Mukhtiyar Ali.

Here’s a cool tidbit, the song features choreography by Shiamak!

Director Adajania said, “I told Shiamak to stay true to the tone of the film and even showed him a few scenes. He laughed, saying he wouldn’t have to do anything. It was a reunion of sorts for the cast. I can’t get over Dimple’s frenzied ‘prosthetic’ bum shake move!”

Shiamak added, “It was fun choreographing the video as I wanted to bring out each character’s personality.”
