Our very own Bollywood heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor, is beleived to be quite eager to be a part of the Dhoom series which has earned a handsome reputation of rocking and shocking the silver screens with scintillating locales and themes surrounding some heart-pumping action sequences, mad adrenalin rush, mysterious thrill, bike chases, handsome thieves and their innovative stealing plans.

Yashraj has been banking upon the successes of their earlier projects in this franchise. Dhoom (2004) and Dhoom 2 (2006) had been smashing hits at the box office, and there has been much buzz in B-town regarding its third installment. Aamir Khan has been roped in Dhoom 3 to be the villain while actors Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra would continue with their famous cop-thief pair.

“If another sequel to Dhoom series comes after Dhoom 3 then I would love to be part of it. It is a very good franchise. Also given the fact that the script is too good,” Ranbir said. After successful rom-coms, the 28-year-old actor wants to change his boy-next-door image and do some action films now, but only after having a well-built body to flaunt off course.

“Since Saawariya my body has been the same. I have never put on or had to lose weight anytime. For me it is difficult to build muscles because my body type is such that it loses weight easily. So I hope at some point of a time I get to do an action film so that I can build up my body, So that I can also look real…like if I hit the villain it should look real,” Ranbir said.

Ranbir’s next projects include Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar opposite Czech-Pakistani origin model, Nargis Fakhri, which has been in the news lately where he plays the role of rock star Jordan. His next film would be Anurag Basu’s Barfee, a romantic-thriller alongside Priyanka Chopra and Tollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz. The film is slated for a 2012 release, so there is quite some time for this romantic hero to fulfill his wishes to go Dhoom!
