Coming up on June 17th is the Shah Rukh Khan produced Always Kabhi Kabhi. This fun, coming of age film directed by Roshan Abbas has been inspired by Abbas’ popular 1999 play ‘Graffiti’. The film stars newcomers Zoa Morani, Giselli Monteiro, Ali Fazal and Satyajeet Dubey in the lead roles. We have your exclusive look into the story of this romantic film!

Synopsis: St. Marks another school full of bright teenagers having aspirations and looking to make a mark on the world. But this teen-age isn’t just about school… it’s also about love and the craze of one’s first-ever crushes. It’s the period where everyone is growing up and moving on to the next level. In this competitive, confusing and sometimes cruel world, we have four characters whose destinies seem to take them on different paths. Somehow, though, they all come together at St. Marks.

Meet the gang:

Aishwarya Dhawan played by Giselle Monteiro:
First up is the sweet-natured and beautiful Aishwarya Dhawan. She iss breath taking, if a beautiful face can launch a 1000 ships, Aish could launch a million. But Aish is a girl who is trying to escape her mother’s pressures of making her a Superstar.

Sameer played by Ali Fazal: The uber cool Sameer… He is Mr. Shortcut always figuring out a way to do something faster and quicker. Tariq used to say that Sam is the kind of guy who would find a short-cut for a shortcut. Sameer is Aishwarya’s first true friend and a guy everyone wants to be like – but with a skeleton in his closet.

Nandini played by Zoa Morani: The bitch of the school, whom everyone hates – Nandini. Her pet hate is Tariq and her love is taking bets!! She is trouble maker, gossip monger, attention seeker and cheeky yet deep down inside in search of true friendship and love.

Tariq Naqvi played by Satyajeet Dubey: Sameer’s best friend, the Bill Gates-like genius, Tariq Naqri who’s under a different pressure of his own… his parents expect him to top MIT.
