Indian film actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended a diabetes charity dinner in London recently. The event was held by Silver Star, a Leicester based charity founded by British MP Keith Vez.

The event, which took place today on 15th June at the Radisson Hotel (Heathrow, London), was graced by the celebrity couple who also posed with Amitabh Bachchan’s wax statue which was placed at the venue from London’s Madame Tussauds.

Speaking about how she handles juggling her busy lifestyle with her baby daughter, Aishwarya said: “Pretty much like everyone else here. It is not easy but this evening is amongst the first baby steps to embrace life as it is today. Being a mum is like bliss and I absolutely love it.”

Abhishek joked saying: “I don’t get much time changing nappies as I would like to. She (Aishwarya) has the honour of doing that. She does all the hard work and is fantastic.”

When asked when Aishwarya is coming back on the big-screen, she responded saying: “I have no clue. I have no idea how the last six and a half months have just flown by. We will see as it goes and you all will know whenever it is meant to be.”

Speaking about roles she would like to do in the future the actress added: “I have always said that if there is that dream role and if it does get written and you get over and done with it, then there is nothing else to look forward to. I have never thought about a dream role or dream film.”

Speaking about his upcoming film Bol Bachchan directed by Rohit Shetty also starring Ajay Devgn and Asin, Abhishek said: “It’s my first ever double role and to etch out two different characters without any similarities apart from the physicality it really is like playing two different characters in the same film. I actually took on this film because I had just finished a spade of very intense action films and the director Rohit Shetty is a dear friend and is renowned for his comedy. I thought it’s going to be a easy comedy film where I can sit back and relax and have a lot of fun and make a successful film. It turned out to be the most difficult film of my life. The energy level you require in comedy films is unbelievable.”
