It seems we both agreed on the brilliance of the song ‘Hawa Sun Hawa’…

Undoubtedly, my favourite track in the album! It’s so soothing: I can listen to it over and over again. And I have to say Alka Yagnik’s voice has been sounding mundane to me these days, but this is one of the few new tracks where I think she’s fantastic. Sometimes I feel she has a problem with going overboard on high notes, but since this song calls for a much softer tone, it allows her to formulate something beautiful. Alka Yagnik, as usual, is awesome. She will never get boring for me! Great melody, beautiful vocals and excellent lyrics – I’m satisfied!

Aly, I so agree, this is one of my favorite tracks of the whole album. Right from the first notes, I knew I would love this song. I read in an interview with Rahman that he did a lot of “old school” music on the album, and I think this song truly harkens back to the classic Hindi film song. Both Sonu and Alka’s voices are splendid and they just make it so good. The music is beautiful, especially the flute. I actually added it to my bollymix playlist at just 1.26 minutes into the song. It shows Rahman’s mastery of his craft and I just loved it. Definitely one you will want to play over and over again.
