London, Paris, New York leads Ali Zafar, Aditi Rao Hydari accompanied by director Anu Menon, producers Shrishti Arya & Goldie Behl, dropped by the Reliance Digital Store in suburban Mumbai to promote their upcoming movie. Visibly excited about the compliments the movie has been receiving, the team engaged their audience with conversations on upcoming Valentine’s Day, film’s music and the LPNY experience.

Speaking about the essence of LPNY Debutant director Anu Menon said, “I wanted to write a story about 2 people and how they figure themselves out in the world and at the same time how their love story progresses. London, Paris and New York are my 3 favorite cities in the world; I’ve tried to capture the romance in the 3 cities”

Counting her blessings for being a part of the Rose Productions’ family, Aditi professed her joy of getting the chance to do her first film as a romantic lead with Ali Zafar and Anu Menon. Talking about her singing stint in the film, she confessed that Ali had turned her from a bathroom singer to singing in a studio. “It’s been a great journey and I’d like to do it again” she candidly admitted.

All praises for his co-stars singing debut, Ali agreed that they were lucky to have Aditi sing in the album. “This is going to be the first in which you’ll have the hero and the heroine sing for themselves in the movie and we are very excited about that” he added referring to the duo’s duet track in the movie ‘Thehree Si Zindagi’.

When quizzed about the movies uncanny resemblance to ‘Hum Tum’ producer Goldie Behl asserted, “The way ZNMD reminded you of Dil Chahta Hai, similarly this film might remind you of Hum Tum. But just like ZNMD and DCH were two different films, even LPNY and Hum Tum are two different films”. “The uniqueness of every rom-com depends on the kind of freshness the filmmaker and star cast gets to the film. Otherwise all romance stories are the same” he added.

Some more Q&A later, upon much insistence, Ali & Aditi delightfully regaled the audience by singing the very popular ‘Voh Dekhnay Mein’ as well as distributed personally autographed CD’s of the films music to contest winners.
