amol-parashar-mapping-a-new-look-1Does the debonair model in the Tanishq, McDowell’s No.1, Cadbury Silk, Bourbon, Mentos, Good Knight, Vodafone and Lay’s television commercial ring a bell? The name known to many is Amol Parashar.

Well it seems like the versatile pin-up poster lad who is synonymous with the goofy boyish personna has decided to shock and awe his fans once again who seem to increasing by the dozen. Creating a distinct identity for himself in the web series and short films domain, Amol has earned critical acclaim for his phenomenal performance in TVF Tripling, Azad and Mama’s Boy.

After stunning audiences in movies like Rocket Singh, Babloo Happy Hai and Traffic, Amol embarks on a brand new bi-lingual film titled Disco 82 directed by the new age director Karan Darra.

Shedding his teenage allure, Amol has taken his love for experimentation a tad bit seriously for his role in the film that is based on the underground party culture, dance music and busts.  Spot the good boy gone bad in the appended image and take a call for yourself.

From playing  a simpleton in Traffic  to the pre independence freedom fighter in Azad, to playing a young DJ in Tripling and now a mafia look in Disco 82, Amol has seamlessly and successfully pulled off multiple looks in a span of one year.

It takes some serious amount of valor to constantly reinvent and experiment with one’s look. And on this note we are hoping tinsel town gives birth to another Aamir Khan. Keeping our fingers crossed on this one mates! It’s time to do the DISCO!
