Bipasha Basu has recently become the talk of the town, first for her break up with John Abraham, and now for her alleged voice in the Amar Singh tapes that have recently surfaced.
The Bollywood actress has strongly denied her involvement in the tapes stating that it is not her voice. In a press statement Bipasha said, “The voice in the recording is certainly not mine. I dare say that my voice has distinct characteristics and the voice on the tape is completely different. Nothing could be farther from the truth.”
Bipasha Basu used Twitter to openly challenge anyone that thinks the voice is her, “Pls request u all to go n hear d conversation 1st n then if u still think its me, I openly challenge anyone to prove it is me!”
She further tweeted, “A celeb takes beatings of all kinds but if my dignity is challenged, I am ready to take this issue up in a stronger manner!” She ended her Twitter session with, “There is a limit of making up stories at the cost of a celeb! Sensationalising ridiculous and untrue stories is not ethical at all!”
Celina Jaitley showed her support for Bipasha Basu via Twitter, “I wld lk 2 stand up 4 Bipasha ..I hrd the tape n I DO NOT believe its her AT ALL >have known Bips since KOLKATA days the voice is NOT hers.”
Bipasha Basu will next be seen on the big screen in Singularity and Players, both of which she is currently filming for.
