Like every year, this time too Boman Irani had a rather beautiful start to his birthday on December 2nd. Making the day extra special for the versatile actor were the children of the Don Bosco Shelter who dropped by at his residence with a cake and lots of love to wish him. An elated Boman even shared a photograph with them on social networking sites with a note, “My Bacchas of the Don Bosco Shelter came over to wish me on my birthday. They bring in so much innocence and affection. I cannot express the emotion and satisfaction.”
An insider reveals that for several years now Boman has been celebrating his birthday with these kids. “Boman has been associated with the Don Bosco Shelter for many years now. In fact even when he was a celebrity guest on Kaun Banega Crorepati, he had pledged his prize money to this organization that helps street children by teaching them basic skills and providing them with a sound education,” says the source. “For Boman there couldn’t have been a better start to his birthday as he shares a rather special bond with all these children. They are all extremely fond of him and Boman too is proud of their achievements,” adds the source. Well, now here’s wishing an actor who spreads smiles not only on screen, but off it too, a beautiful happy birthday indeed!
