“It’s political, philosophical, comical, dramatic and most of all, relatable. And therein lies its strength” Abhay Deol says when speaking about the film with Times of India. Leading lady Sonam Kapoor is presently working on Nupur Asthana’s untitled next, calls it a “small-town film with a big heart” while costar Dhanush says the film became a journey for him. But for the main man behind the film, director Anand L Rai, says he had his reasons for making this film.

“Today, love is like a fairytale; it will never happen. People doubt each other so much that it’s difficult to fall in love. Scared of getting hurt in a relationship, they tend to hold back. I think you should just go ahead and fall in love. Celebrate love and pain simultaneously. That’s my reason for making this film.” Point noted.

We will have to wait till June 21st to find out how grand the celebrations are.

“I believe that you must be comfortable in what you are wearing. I like wearing something simple, not over the top and something which fits really well,” Ileana recently said in an interview.

She not only sticks to the basics when it comes to fashion but whilst juggling shoots for different things, Ileana sticks to a healthy diet as such a busy schedule takes the toll on her skin and hair. Good hair and skin boost self-confidence.

“I think whether we admit or not, the first thing that you notice is the face and hair. It is the way you carry yourself. If you have healthy hair, you will have self-confidence. Also, all women want to have fabulous hair,” she said.

She even acknowledges her own imperfections and says that “The amount of pressure people put in trying to make you look perfect…I believe, you find perfection in imperfection. I may not have a perfect face or perfectly aligned nose, but that is just the way you are.”

The fact that Ileana also promotes ads for Fair and Lovely, Clear and Electrolux make it clear as to why she doesn’t take risks in any part of her appearance. She explains how “The ad has come out beautifully. It is exactly what I expected it to be. Most of the people who are associated with the brand have put so much of trust in me to represent them. The ad showcases what they really want to say,”

“I am planning to name the team Royal Roosters, as it has a royal and naughty touch and the sport can do with some fun,” he says. Asked about this unusual purchase, the actor says, “Some people buy properties, others precious jewellery, but I have put my money in things I love.”

Randeep will need 20-24 horses for the team and will bring in professional players from India and abroad. “They will be stationed in Jaipur. When I get time off from my movie commitments, I can practise and might then be able to play in the team too. I am clear that I won’t go on the field without practice or else I will make a fool of myself,” he says.

The actor is not new to the sport though. “I had given polo a back seat and taken up show jumping. This probably is the first time that Bollywood and polo have come together in real life. I hope that helps to take the sport to the next level,” he says.

While other sports are almost like religion in India, Randeep hopes to popularise polo. “Contrary to the royal and uptight image of polo, I want to bring it to a younger generation. This is a great sport that can have a larger audience and appeal to more people. Sportsmanship is lacking in many other sports that I don’t want to name. I am teaming up with the Royal India Polo Company and they are helping me in taking calls for the team. I will be looking at major corporate and private individuals for sponsorship too,” he says.

Kick will reportedly be an action thriller and major parts of it will be shot in London. “Some major action sequences are being planned on the streets of London, for which action directors will be flown in from LA. Some streets in the city are expected to shut down for the shoot. London’s Mayor Boris Johnson met Sajid recently and extended his full co-operation.”

Salman was last seen in Dabangg 2 (2012), which became a raving hit at the box office last year. He will next be seen in Mental which is being directed by his brother Sohail Khan.
