Dia Mirza is looking forward to winter 2009 as it will see the release of her latest blockbuster movie Acid Factory. “Acid Factory is one of my biggest films,” she says, “I really worked hard for the film and can’t wait to see the promos on air.” Dia is the only woman in the exciting thriller which has six male stars including Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea and Irrfan Khan. Much is expected of it upon its release.

How did Dia feel being surrounded by six men all day long? “I enjoyed the attention my six co-stars – Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Danny Denzongpa, Fardeen Khan, Irrfan Khan and Manoj Bajpai – showered on me during that 45-day schedule in Hyderabad,” she explains, “However, given the time we spent together, I eventually felt like one of the guys and we were on the same level.”

How does Dia go about choosing her roles? “I leave it to my gut feel,” she says, “My biggest high is when a filmmaker tells me that no one but me can do the film. That is why Shoojit Sircar’s Johnny Mastana is special – because the director said that to me.”

As well as Acid Factory, Dia is also hoping to meet success with Familywala with Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal; and Alibaug with Sanjay Suri and Sophia Choudhury.
