Ghajini is playing to packed houses both at home and abroad and that’s left Aamir Khan feeling very high. However, Aamir may never have become involved with the movie if it hadn’t been for co-star Pradeep Rawat. “Aamir Khan usually has Diwali parties at his house,” said an insider, “It was at one of these parties that Pradeep Rawat, who has worked with him in a couple of films like Lagaan and Sarfarosh, told him about the film.” Pradeep had played the role of the villain in the Tamil version with Surya.

In an innovative move, the producers are planning to dub the movie into Spanish and to release it in the US and possibly south of the border – 35 million Americans speak Spanish as a prime language. “The Spanish community is the second largest community after the Americans in the US,” explained Madhu Mantena, one of the film’s producers, “So we plan to give it a mainstream Spanish release in the US. We are mainly targeting the west coast and Mexican borders that have a huge Spanish population.”

Aamir took time out from promoting Ghajini yesterday to wish Salman Khan a happy birthday. “Many happy returns of the day and always be happy and be safe,” he said. Salman has recently given two portraits that he painted from Ghajini to Aamir as a gift.
